The Family Hub is dedicated to removing barriers and improving access to quality behavioral health care for underserved individuals and families in order to build safer, healthier and more resilient communities. The Family Hub will accomplish this through facilitating clinical, educational and support services and by mobilizing volunteers in the professional and general public sectors.

The Family Hub is a registered nonprofit organization, pending application for recognition of exemption under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Gift Recognition & Donor Privacy:

Your gift will be publicly recognized in our annual report; however, if you prefer not to be listed please let us know that you would like to keep your identity anonymous. Your private contact information (such as your name, address and phone number) will be used for internal purposes only and will not be shared with, sold or distributed to a third party except under the following circumstances:

  • you have provided your explicit consent for us to pass data to a named third party; 

  • we are using a third party purely for the purposes of processing data on our behalf and we have in place a data processing agreement with that third party that fulfils our legal obligations in relation to the use of third-party data processors; or

  • we are required by law to share your data.

The Family Hub respects the privacy of its clients, visitors and donors. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and disclosed from or about you by The Family Hub (“we”, “us”, or “our”) when you visit or connect with us by email, phone or in person. 

Donation and Purchase Information

When you donate, register, or purchase items from The Family Hub, we collect the personal information you provide, such as your name, address, telephone number, email address and payment information. Payment information, such as your credit card number, expiration date or card identification/security code, is not retained by The Family Hub. We may collect your contact information if you “opt-in” to receive our newsletters, annual report, email updates and other information sent out regarding The Family Hub’s activities and events.

Email Address

We collect and store your email address if you contact us directly via email or if you provide your email address to us through the website. If you opt out of future messaging, we will store your name and email address for the purpose of maintaining a “do not contact” list.

Survey Information

We may occasionally conduct voluntary surveys. If you choose to participate in one of our voluntary surveys, we may collect information related to you and your responses.

Technical Information

This website collects information such as the site traffic patterns, server usage statistics, and device and operating system information. We may use cookies or similar technology to collect such information for advertising and other purposes.

The Family Hub’s website provides links to third-party websites or apps, including our social media pages. We do not control the privacy and security practices of sites not owned by The Family Hub. This website may also include integrated social media tools or “plug-ins”, such as social networking, photo sharing, and video streaming tools offered by third parties. If you use these tools to share personal information or you otherwise interact with social media features on the site, those social media companies may collect information about you and may use and share such information in accordance with your account settings, including by sharing such information with the general public. Your interactions with third-party social media companies and the use of their features are governed by the privacy policies of the social media companies that provide those features. Client Health Information

Service history and client status are in no way connected to your contribution, should you choose to donate as a current or former client. No information regarding services received or your status as a current or former client will be acknowledged in thank you letters or receipts, nor will it be recorded or maintained in our secure donor database. In addition, donor information is only accessible to The Family Hub’s staff on a need-to-know basis. When a demonstrated need is identified, employees may be provided with only the access necessary to perform their jobs. For example, The Family Hub’s employees will not personally thank you for your donation unless you have explicitly requested that your gift be linked to your client status.

Opt-Out Process

If you make a donation to The Family Hub and do not wish to have your name included in our annual report, you can notify us by phone, email or by marking “anonymous” on your donation.

If you no longer wish to be included on our mailing list, please click the “unsubscribe” link on our newsletters, email or call 651-341-1900. Upon receipt your request, our donor database is updated to reflect that no further contact should be made.
